Deviation Actions
Prequel:
Pollution and radioactivity is everywhere you can find it anywhere, in your household, at your work or school, anywhere. It pollutes the street and lets gas off everywhere. Wherever you look it will be there waiting eventually the pollution will get out of hand and something bad will happen. What that bad thing is I can’t say, but it will.

Chapter 1:
I wake up like any other day, I get out of bed and get ready for a long day at work I get out my cereal and pour it into a bowl. One of those toys goes into my milk and it splashes on my suit, “dammit” I say to myself like it’s going to get the milk off. I get changed and put my dirty clothes in the washing ill finish them later. By the time I get to cereal its all soggy and wet i look at the toy that fell in the bowl, it looks like a fly. I don’t like soggy cereal so I just put it in the sink and thought it would be better if I just didn’t have cereal today. I got into my car and went to my work. When I got there I was about 7 minutes late. As I was walking past my bosses office to get to my work station I heard his voice. “your late” he said to me.
“yeah sorry about that john I woke up at the right time but when I was having breakfast i-“ he cuts me off before I can finish.
“I don’t want to hear your life story david, just get to your station and don’t be late again.”
“yes sir I will try not to be late again."
“you don’t try david, you do.” He says to me.
I walk to my station. On the table my name is facing whoever walks in. it reads: David hank. I sit down and sigh over the conversation that just happened. My job is to just work on a computer all day and strain my eyesight. Eventually , because I got no sleep that night , I fell asleep. When I woke up the sky was dark I looked at my moniter. It said it was 12:32 in the middle of the night. How come no one woke me up? I just grabbed my coat and started walking to my car. I stopped when I came to something unexpected in the building. “WOAH! What the hell.” I said to myself, I looked at it for atleast 5 minutes before I wanted to get home that instant. For there right in front of me was a huge hole in the building. How did I sleep through this. I looked down at the ground. My office is 8 stories up so I couldn’t just jump down, that would be suicide. How do I get across? “dammit” I say to myself the gap is pretty long and I don’t really want to risk jumping across it. I look around for something to place in the gap that I could walk on but theres nothing. I know that the elevator won’t work so I will have to use the stairs. But they’re on the other side of this gap. I decide that the only way that I'm going to get across is if I jump. I get a good run up and steady myself to jump. I start to run, just before I'm about to fall I push my feet up and jump. It feels like I'm in the air for 3 minutes and not 3 seconds. I don’t quite make the jump so now I'm hanging on by only my fingers. “AH SOMEBODY HELP ME! AH-“ I say the S word a lot while I'm dangling. After about a minute I give up on trying to pull myself up. Because it wont happen. “goodbye cruel world” I say the cheesiest line I can think of before I'm about to let go. Then I feel a hand against mine it grabs my hand and starts to pull me up I help whoever this lifesaver is and push against the ground to get up. When I get up I immediately go on my hands and knees and throw up down the huge gaping hole in the side of the building. I turn around to look at my saviour. Its my best friend Colin. “are you alright David?” he asks me
“Yeah I’ve just BEEN HANGING OFF OF AN 8 STORY BUILDING BY ONLY MY FINGERTIPS, SO WHAT DO YOU THINK.”
“Ok then, you’re not ok” he says to me.
“What happened while I was asleep Colin?”
“Honestly David how do you sleep through something like that?” he sighs and then continues to tell me what happened. “I was just working like any other day and then the building caved in right there and killed mary and john and… everyone. I think were the only survivors on this story of the building. I don’t know how it happened but I think that we’re in… the apocalypse” he says
“Colin?”
“yeah”
“whats the last thing you remember?”
He pauses for a second then says to me.
“flys.”
